The Keeling Curve is a melodic pop-folk band. The musical influences and roots of its band members range from dirty blues, sweaty samba to Balkan folk music. These styles have been shaken up and blended into bitter pop tunes, cutting ditties and power-folk ballads.
The band is based in Oxfordshire and brought together through the love of music and their work with environmental issues. There are six band members playing both plugged-in and acoustic instruments creating a soundscape of many layers and often haunting harmonies.
Until now, The KC have often performed in Oxford and have also been known to venture out to local music venues and festivals such as the Wallingford Bunkfest, Wittfest and the Cowley Road Carnival.

Hi guys. I mentioned this to Matt a while ago, but it’s taken me ages to get organised! Basically I am pulling together a concert on 22 March (Sunday) in late afternoon/early eve for charity (in Wallingford). I wondered whether you’d be interested in doing something? It would be fantastic to have something from you (or maybe end the concert with a bit of a mini gig?)
It’s a charity concert, and pretty informal, with varied music (classical piano, contemporary singing, and any other musicians I can involve).
Is this something you’d be interested in and do you know any other musicians who may want to have some fun and perfom at it?
Pls let me or Katie Beardall know – thanks so much!
Alex
Hey troops,
just wondered if you’d had a chance to check your bulging diaries. Just let me know if you fancy another gig at Cafe CoCo on 27th April please.
Thanks a million,
Scott
P.S. that fiddle’s gonna be the loudest instrument this time
Well done at Warborough Festival, wish we could have had you there longer. Please send Super Hero as an Mp3 and I will play it on my show this weekend.
